So...
Last day...
Kind of happy because it was quite boring when I wasn't in court.
But it kind of feels sad clearing your desk.
I feel so maudlin even though I only went there for a week.
Top 5 things I am going to miss most:
1. The people.
They are very friendly, especially the pupils and the interns.
2. The scenery.
It is so high up that it is shrouded in mist in the morning and when it rains.
And also a spectacular view of Sentosa.
3. Having to wear a black tie and suit.
Gives you reason to where it and it makes you feel so much different.
4. The office conditions.
I get my own room, albeit with a large gap above the temp walls.
The office supplies are copious with a wide variety and in superb condition.
The printers, scanners and telephones perform more functions than I ever imagined.
5. Being very high up above the ground.
So high that every time I take an elevator I have to swallow to adjust to the different air pressures.
So that's the end of it.
At first I thought some people I know and some office people I have seen typed very fast.
But it was nothing compared to how fast the registrars and judges type.
Amazing.
Sentosa Cove is so intriguing because it could very well be the most expensive residential area in Singapore.
So close to the sea, in a resort island, so close to the cbd.
